This ia a bound collection of newspapers published between July and December 1941. Contains various news from around the world including innovations like creation of artificial fog, news about appointment of Lord Beaverbrook who was minister of Supply for artilery, news on war like bombing of Germany, news in brief from all over the world,a biography of Mr Winston churchill who was prime minister and known for leading Britain the second world war, sports news, advertisements of goods and services, the Blantyre Baraza a famous platfrom used Governor's to address Native Authorities, News about Stallin and his role in worldwar, other notable personalities like President Roosevelt, prince Konoye, King Gerorge, Signor Statace and count Crandi among others,Native and imported medicines like quinine, official communique on Colonial Policy in War Time, Politics from around the world, Entertainment news, State economies, announcements of meetings, taxation rates, Native policy statements, notes from districts in Malawi, orbituary, christmas plan and celebrations,.
Extent: 1 bound volume of newspapers containing 414 pages.
Condition of original material: Some pages are torn, badly folded, are brittle and balck ink is fading.
Custodial history: The Material was published at Blantyre Newspapers Limited in Blantyre district in Malawi. The news papers were then collected, bounded in volumes and stored at the National Archives of Malawi repositories.
Arrangement: The material is arranged according to dates of creatoin.
