The 1942 collection of the Newspaper was mostly in the nyanja language. It carried stories from several countries such as Russia, Itary, Germany as well as Malawi. Some of the headlines in the Nyanja language include: Speech by Honourable Churchil; Historical background of the world war; Solders participation in the war.
Extent: 1 volume of unbound newspapers containing 104 pages.
Condition of original material: The Newspapers are generally in readable condition although in some cases some papers are torn.
