The paper carried stories with titles such as "The Chrismas message from the Governor General Lord Llewellin, the governor of Nyasaland . It has advertisements of Cigarattes called " Nkubema gold leaf", and advertisements on bycicles. The paper also carried a sad story of the death of Native Authority Gomani who had died on 12 May, 1954 at Malamulo Hospital and was burried in Ncheu.
