The papers carries an interesting story of probably the first African lady who was a teacher and later was trained to be a Librarian under the Gold Coast Training Board training scheme. Her name was Miss Ofari Atta. In addition the the above story, the paper also had local stories ranging from reports from the Native Authorities on the activities carried out in the district like maintainance of roads to the advertsements on cigarattes called Virginia Blend.
