The paper carries stories such as the death of Sir Geoffrey Colby. Sir Colby was the governoe of Nyasaland from 1948 to 1956. he retired in 1956 and went back to England and he died on 22 December 1958. the paper has one story in English about the new shop that has been opened by the District commissioner Mr. P. Dale. the other story in the paper are in the two local languages of Nyanja and Yao. The paper also carried stories of feedback from the readers to the editor on various topical stories that were released by the paper in the past.
