(1). Original front cover to the file: 'Drafts and Old Pieces 1954-61'.
(2). 'Suite for Piano' dedicated to Dr Lloyd Webber. Three movements (Prelude, Gavotte, Sarabande), scored in pencil (1 bifolium). Dated: January-February 1956.
(3). 'Concertante Movement' for piano and chamber orchestra. Scored in pencil (title page and 53 pp). Dated: October-December 1956.
(4). 'Chorale Prelude for the Wedding of Miss Nell Dunn and Mr Jeremy Sandford' [1957]. Scored for organ in blue ink (1 bifolium).
(5). 'Wedding Anthem' [1957, also composed for the wedding of Dunn and Sandford]. A setting of words from the Song of Solomon: 'Rise up, my love' (2:12-14). Scored in blue ink for three parts: soprano, alto, bass (3 bifolia).
(6). 'Kleines Vorspiel' (1957). Piano score in pencil (1 bifolium), with a second photocopy score (1 bifolium). Dedicated to CW.
(7). Three Pieces for Clarinet and Piano [c 1957]. Photocopy autograph score in three movements (3 bifolia).
(8). 'Rude Noise for Orchestra'. Pencil score (1 bifolium), headed 'Draft of Friday 17 April' [1959]. On the final page, Wood's notes in pencil on the the 3rd Symphony of Gian Francesco Malipiero (1945).
(9). 'Fanfare' (incorporating Dances I-III). Pencil sketch (short score) for orchestra (2 bifolia). Drafts spanning Friday 22 May [1959] and 31 March 1960.
(10). Ballet: 'The Pool'. Undated short score in pencil (1 bifolium). Note: the front page lists other compositions ('pre-op pieces') that were originally housed within the bifolium.
(11). 'Kontrapunkte'. Scored in pencil in three movements: (I) for trumpet, horn, trombone; (II) for violins, violas, cellos; (III) for flute, oboe, bassoon. Undated (1 bifolium).
(12). 'Canonic String Trio' for violin, viola, cello. Scored in pencil. Undated (1 folio).
(13). 'Introduction and Passacaglia for Organ'. Scored in pencil. Undated (1 bifolium and 1 folio).
(14). 'The Night-Blowing Cereus' for small ensemble (including flute, clarinet horn viola, cello, percussion). Scored in blue ink with additional score in pencil. Undated (1 bifolium and 1 folio).
(15). 'Prelude II'. Scored in blue ink for piano. Undated (1 bifolium).
(16). 'I. Allegro Vivace'. First movement only, scored in blue ink (with occasional pasted-down revisions) for woodwind and strings. The score incorporates remarks in pencil throughout and at the end by a tutor. Undated (10 folios).
(17). Allegro Vivace. Scored in black ink for two pianos (rehearsal letters A-M in red pencil), with additional score in pencil at the end (2 bifolia). Together with draft score of the same music in blue ink and pencil, also with some pasted-down material and rehearsal letters A-M (10 folios). Undated.
(18). 'A Toye' by Giles Farnaby, arranged by 'HKA' [H. K. Andrews]. Scored in blue ink for two violins, viola, cello, and bass (1 bifolium). With separate parts in Wood's hand (5 folios). On the verso of the viola part, Wood has written: 'ISIS studio / 11.30 A.M / Dr Andrews'.
(19). 'Wedding March for Mary and Gavin. To be played on Village Organ only.' Undated autograph score in blue ink, followed by further material sketched in pencil (1 bifolium).
(20). 'Clarinet Piece No. 1' for clarinet and piano. Scored in black ink on the inner pages of a bifolium, with pencil sketch material on the outer pages.
(21). 'Cantilena' for viola and piano. Scored in pencil (1 bifolium).
(22). Miscellaneous exercises, drafts and fragments, largely untitled, in ink and pencil. Includes 'Good Night, Vienna' for clarinet and piano, and a fragment headed 'Logue I' (words: 'The image of love grows').
