- Title:
- Hugh Wood: Scores
- Scope & Content:
- Hugh Wood's scores arranged chronologically and by Opus number, beginning with music composed at Oundle School, Northamptonshire (Wood entered as a boarder in 1945) and composed at Oxford University (1951-54), and concluding with 'Ithaka' (Opus 61). The final two files in the Series are a gathering of various 'Light and Occasional Pieces' (1980-2008) and a small file of examples relating to the teaching of harmony.
There are no scores in the archive for Opuses 55, 56 and 58. There is also no Opus 41: the songs which were to have comprised Opus 41 were re-conceived as 'The Isles of Greece' (Opus 52).
