With dyeline viola part (title-page and pp. 1-5) also marked in pencil.
(2). ‘Uncorrected’ copy, as revised January 1959. Unmarked dyeline autograph score for viola and piano (title-page and 12 pp.).
(3). Dyeline autograph score heavily revised in pencil (12 pp.).
(4). ‘Drafts: Viola Variations’. Draft material scored in pencil (5 bifolia and 1 folio) with particular emphasis on the Finale. Also includes ‘Analysis of Theme’ and ‘Thematic Plan’.
