Trio for flute, viola and piano. Commissioned by the John Lewis Partnership. First performed on 5 December 1961 at their Oxford Street Auditorium. The players were William Bennett (flute), Patrick Ireland (viola), and Susan Bradshaw (piano).
(1). Autograph full score, in black ink (title-page and pp. 1-[20]). Title-page stamped 'Hire Library Universal Edition' with Wood's address and telephone number in his hand at the foot of the page. Rehearsal letters in red pencil, and other markings in pencil, red pen, and blue pencil. At the foot of p. 1, written by hand: 'Copyright 1962 Universal Edition (London) Ltd.' At the end of the score, Wood has noted in pencil details of three performances (1961-63). The first performance was on 5 December 1961, at John Lewis Auditorium, Oxford Street, by Susan Bradshaw, William Bennett, and Patrick Ireland (see item (4) below).

- Flute: copyist's hand in black ink, with rehearsal letters in red pencil, annotated in red pen, pp. 1-7 (2 bifolia).
- Viola: copyist's hand in black ink, with rehearsal letters in red pencil, annotated in red pen, pp. 1-7 (2 bifolia).
- Piano: autograph in black ink, title-page and pp. [1]-15. Annotations in red ink. The score p. [3] has been suck-through in pencil, as has a one-bar rest on p. [5]. Pasted-down music appears on pp. [2] and [5], and p. [6] is a whole-page past-down.

- 3 bifolia, dated 'November 1961'.
(4). Dyeline copy of autograph full score (title-page, pp. 1-20, and back sheet) with pencil markings. Susan Bradshaw's name is written in pencil on the title-page.
