Incomplete copy of an alchemical text by the Seljuq chancellor (صاحب ديوان الإنشاء) and vizier, poet and alchemist Muʼayyad al-Dīn Abū Ismāʻīl al-Ḥusayn ibn ʻAlī al-Ṭughrāʼī (مؤيد الدين أبو إسماعيل الحسين بن علي الطغرائي, d. 1121). This text is part two of the preceding item in the present volume (ff. 13r-101r).
The copy was completed by Darwīsh ʻAlī ibn Shams al-Dīn (درويش علي بن شمس الدين) on the afternoon of Sunday 29 Ṣafar 1091/21 March 1680 (see scribal colophon, f. 160r, lines 21-23, transcribed below).
One or more folios are missing after f. 111.
A slip of lined, western wove paper bearing four magic squares (أوفاق) and lines of writing with unjoined letters has been inserted into the volume between folios 134 and 135.
