Alchemical text by the Seljuq chancellor (صاحب ديوان الإنشاء) and vizier, poet and alchemist Muʼayyad al-Dīn Abū Ismāʻīl al-Ḥusayn ibn ʻAlī al-Ṭughrāʼī (مؤيد الدين أبو إسماعيل الحسين بن علي الطغرائي, d. 1121). This text is a companion piece to items one and six in the present volume, the Collection of Secrets (جامع الأسرار, ff. 182v-196v, 1v and 5r-12v), and deals with the science of compositions (علم التراكيب, ff. 161v-176v), projection (طرح, ff. 176v-177v), the relative length of the days of the year (ff. 177v-179v), and the ferment (خميرة, ff. 179v-181v).
The copy was completed by Darwīsh ʻAlī ibn Shams al-Dīn (درويش علي بن شمس الدين) at noon on Saturday 6 Rabīʻ I [10]91/27 March 1680 (see colophon, f. f. 182r, lines 12-15, transcribed below).
According to the scribe, the present manuscript is the seventh copy in the tradition from al-Ṭughrāʼī's authorial holograph, which was completed on Rabīʻ I 512/June-July 1118, the first two copies having been made on 15 Ramaḍān 738/6 April 1338 and 5 Rabīʻ I 745/17 July 1344 (see colophon on f. 182r, lines 7-12, transcribed below).

كتاب تراكيب الأنوار للشهيد مؤيد الدين الطغرائي تغمده الله تعالى برحمته
الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين وأتانا ما لم يؤت أحدًا من
العالمين وخصنا بالحكمة التي خص بها عباده الصالحين ...
Ends (f. 182r, lines 5-6):
... ولا يؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا ولا يحمل علينا أصرًا ولا يضبع لنا أجرًا
بمنه وكرمه ورأفته إنه جواد كريم وهو حسبنا ونعم الوكيل والحمد لله رب العالمين

ذكر الناسخ الأول أنه وجد في النسخة التي نسخ منها كان في الأصل التي نسخت منه
كان مكتوبًا بخطه قدس الله روحه وقع الفراغ منها خامس عشر رمضان المعظم سنة
ثمان وثلثين وسبعمائة والأصل كان الفراغ منها في شهر ربيع الأول سنة إثنى عشر وخمسمائة
ووقع الفراغ من هذه النسخة خامس ربيع الأول من شهور سنة خمس وأربعين وسبعمائة
وهذه النسخة الرابعة من نسخة المصنف التي وجدت بخطه قدس الله روحه
وهذه سادس نسخة على ما قيل وهذه سابع نسخة كمل كتاب تراكيب الأنوار
