This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript from Northern Province, Sri Lanka. Manuscript is partially damaged. It is difficult to determine the author, exact age, title, and content of the manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801–1899. The manuscript is related to medicine and health. It contains details of remedies for health conditions. The manuscript prescribes medicine for health conditions grouped by organ and body system. It gives the details of medical advice and medicine for a particular organ related health issue (stomach, leg, eyes, mouth, skin, teeth, etc.). It mentions medicinal powder for piles, a potion for stomach ache, oil for the cure of small tumors, a cure for dehydration, and phlegm accumulation due to various diseases. It also provides rules for using pulse rates, fevers, etc. while diagnosing an illness. The protective cover is made of neem and has artwork on it.
