This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled Amutākaram (Medicine for poisoning) from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The period of this manuscript is unknown but it is estimated to be from the period between 1901-1999. It is written by Aranganathan Puthalvan. This palm-leaf manuscript related to treatments to poison. It is called as Amutākaram as it contains many valuable medical herbs like Amirtham which are offered by Siddhas. It contains all types of remedies for all the types of poisonous animals. It also contains the curing methods for rat bite, Aranai bite. The manuscript contains 92 pages.
