Music passages in draft, mostly dated and in pencil, scored for cello and piano. In many cases, the draft passages occupy the inner two pages of a bifolium. Arranged by date, as follows, with undated material at the end of the sequence. Where given, bar numbers are noted.
(1). 23 Sep 1965. Pencil draft, bars 1-33 (1 bifolium).
(2). 11 and 17 Nov 1965. Pencil draft, bars 27-57 on inner pages, and bars 108-148 on outer pages (1 bifolium).
(3). 19 Jan 1966. Pencil draft, bars 83-130 (1 bifolium).
(4). 23 Feb 1966. Pencil draft, bars 145-180 on inner pages, and bars 53-65 on outer first page, with unnumbered pencil score on the final page (1 bifolium, physically split).
(5). 25 Jun 1967. Pencil draft, pp. 19-21 on inner pages, and 7 bars of pencil draft full score on outer pages. (1 bifolium).
(6). 1, 3 and 4 Sep 1967: pencil draft, '2nd half of Cadenza' on outer pages. 3 Oct 1967: unidentified pencil score on inner pages. (1 bifolium)

(9). 5 Jan 1968. Pencil draft, bars 329-354 on inner pages, with unidentified pencil score on outer pages (1 bifolium).
(10). 27 Aug 1968. Pencil draft of the opening of the Scherzo on inner pages (1 bifolium). With 'flame, sword, flower' written at the head of the score.
(11). 24, 25 Sep 1968. Pencil draft, bars 68-122 (1 bifolium).
(12). 26, 27 Sep 1968. Pencil draft, bars 123-161 (1 bifolium).
(13). 12 and 17 Dec 1968. Pencil 'sketch' for Scherzo (1 bifolium).
(14). 19 Dec 1968. Unidentified pencil draft (1 bifolium).
(15). 27 Sep (year not given). Pencil sketch for Recapitulation (c. bar 80) on inner and outer pages (1 bifolium, physically split).
(16). 28 and 30 Sep (year not given). Pencil sketches (2 bifolia) for bars c. 160-200.
(17). Undated. 12-tone rows in black ink, scored on the outer pages (1 bifolium).
(18). Undated draft fragments. 3 pages in pencil (one beginning 'flame, sword, flower') and 1 page in black ink (2 folios).
(19). Undated draft score in black ink. Pages numbered 23-32; bars (marked in pencil) 295-414. With additional notes in pencil (p. 27), and 4 replacement bars (382-385) now retained by brass paper clip (p. 30).
