Settings of four poems by Robert Graves for tenor and piano: 'Mid-winter Waking'; 'The Hazel Grove'; 'To Tell and Be Told'; and 'Bird of Paradise'.
(1). 'Mid-winter Waking':
- Autograph score in black ink, dated '6-9 April 1979 / revised 14-16 October 1982 / fair copy 28 January 1983'. Title-page and pp. 2-5 (outer bifolium and an inner folio: 295 x 420 mm).
(2). 'The Hazel Grove', dedicated 'for Sally':
- Autograph score in black ink, dated '8 March 1974-6 March 1978 for 11 March 78' (255 x 365 mm: 2 ff.).
- Photocopy of autograph score, dated '8 March 1974-8 March 1978 for 11 March 1978'. Title-page and 3 pages of score (285 x 370 mm: 4 ff.). Note: this is not a copy of the above autograph score.
(3). 'To Tell and Be Told':
