Commissioned by the Milton Keynes City Orchestra. First performed 23 January 2009 at Milton Keynes Theatre by Alexandra Wood (violin) and the Milton Keynes City Orchestra, conducted by Sian Edwards.
The file comprises violin part revisions, and piano reductions for Movements I and II only.
(1). 'Solo Part', Movement I. Title-page and pp. 1-9. Scored in pencil: 312 bars. No date. 3 nested bifolia (270 x 365 mm).
(2). Revised solo part, Movement I (photocopy autograph score), comprising pp. 1-5 as above followed by 'new' pp. 6-8 ('August 08 revision').
(3). [Solo Part]. Movement II. Scored in pencil: 103 bars. No date. A single bifolium (270 x 365 mm).
(4). [Solo Part]. Movement II ('August 08 revision'). 4 pp., mixing photocopy autograph (p. 1), photocopy autograph with pencil score pasted-down (p. 2), and pencil score (pp. 3-4). Each page designated August 2008 revision. Four folios (270 x 365 mm).
(5). 'Solo Part', Movement III. 'October 2008 revision'. Title page [p. 1] and pp. 2-10. Scored in pencil, with pasted-down photocopy autograph score on pp. 6-7. Page 10 is entirely struck-through, followed by a new p. 10 which includes pasted-down photocopy autograph score. 3 nested bifolia (270 x 365 mm).
(6). Piano reduction (Movement I). Photocopy autograph score, with pencil annotations and additional draft score added in pencil. Pages numbered 1-4, 6-12, 17-20. No date. Paper size: A4.
(7). Piano reduction incomplete (Movement II). Photocopy autograph score, pp. 3-9 only. Bars 60-73 (pp. 5-6) have been struck-through in pencil. No date. Paper size: A4.
