Correspondence and documents, comprising:
(1) Bank Statement for Poetry London (Lloyds Bank Ltd, Southampton Row, London), for the period 31 December, 1940 - 8 April, 1941, together with fourteen processed cheques.
(2) Two letters from March to John Roberts, Nicholson & Watson (28 August, 1947, and 8 June, 1948).
(3) Correspondence between March and Graham Mould, of Freeman & Son, Solicitors (1947-1949), including: details of certain share transfers; draft Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Directors, Editions Poetry London Ltd (31 March, 1949) at which Tambimuttu's services were dispensed with; and a copy of an 'Open Letter to Richard March' [1949], circulated following Tambimuttu's dismissal (signatories: Kathleen Raine, Anne Ridler, Roy Campbell, John Craxton, Anthony Dickins, Lucian Freud, David Gascoyne, John Irwin and Keidrych Rhys).
(4) Copy letter (typescript, 6 January, 1948) from George Wittenborn (Wittenborn and Company, Books on the Fine Arts, New York) to Tambimuttu, concerning distribution.
(5) Six letters from an employee of Editions Poetry London Ltd to March (1949-1950), reporting on various matters in March's absence.
(6) An exchange of letters (1949) between Tambimuttu and Laurence [Clarke], concerning recapitalisation (Clarke declined).
(7) Three copy letters from March (each dated 3 April, 1949): to Westminster Bank and to the Editor of The Bookseller, informing them that Tambimuttu has 'retired' as Director and that Nicholas Moore and Ronald Duncan have been voted onto the Board; and a letter to Ronald Duncan, informing him of Tambimuttu's immediate response to the changes.
(8) Balance Sheet and Trading and Profit and Loss Account of Editions Poetry London Ltd, for the Year Ended 30 September, 1948 (prepared by Edwin Hubbard & Co, Accountants and Auditors, 16 December, 1948).
(9) 'Poetry London Stock List' (3 sheets, without date).
(10) Two copies of a narrative statement of the founding and administrative affairs of Poetry London, and Editions Poetry London, concentrating on the period 1947-1949 with emphasis on Tambimuttu's performance and conduct (dated 2 December, 1949).
(11) Pages 2 and 3 only of a Statement by the Chairman, signed Richard March [1949].
(12) Letter (15 February, 1950) to March from Clarkson Webb & Dewar, Chartered Accountants, together with statement of costs for four recent titles: 'I am inclined to think you would be best advised to cut your losses'.
(13) 'Draft proposed letter to Mr Tambimuttu' [1950], offerring £25 for Tambimuttu's 4,900 shares.
(14) Correspondence (six letters, 1952) between H L Senior and Editions Poetry London Ltd concering the loss of Senior's manuscript.
