- Report on ‘local gossip’ from the Kadhimain [Al-Kadhimiyah] area relating to ‘intrigues’ among the many ‘secret societies’
- Proposals for landownership and income tax
- The urgent need for a pronouncement on self-determination and a rumoured Commission, ‘to avoid serious trouble in Iraq’; parties favouring American rather than British protection; perceptions of natural desires among Arabs for an Arab ‘united nation’; the importance of Iraqi nationhood, separate from the Hedjaz [Hijaz], Syria, and Najd.
