Origin: England (? Worcester or ? York): These folios were originally bound with the poem and law codes on ff. 31v-38v and the Pontifical on ff. 39r-86v and 106r-150v. Wormholes suggest that the original order of the folios was ff. 31r-38v, 106r-136v, 39r-38v, 137r-150v (see Ker, Catalogue (1957), p. 177).
Provenance:
Wulfstan (d. 1023), bishop of Worcester and archbishop of York: annotated folios which were bound with this Pontifical (see, for example, f. 35r).
