Reports on the House Fund (1808, 1850 & 1856)

Contains three reports and related correspondence relating to whether a separate House Fund should be used to meet the expenses of the Fund’s accommodation. The first report, by Richard Yates, is from 1808 and accompanied by a letter from Charles Monro. The second, by the Treasurers and Auditors, is from 1850 and is accompanied by a note on the minutes by Octavian Blewitt and a letter from Edward Foss. There are also four related 1853 letters from Sir Robert Harry Inglis to Blewitt. The third and largest report is from 1856, authored by a subcommittee consisting of John Forbes, William Henry Harrison, George Godwin, William Frederick Pollock and Robert Bell. It is accompanied by a letter addressed to Blewitt from Pollock and several letters to Blewitt from Bell.
