Contains documents relating to the Literary Fund’s residence in 6 & 7 Adelphi Terrace between 1890 and 1899 (although the residence continued until 1905). Includes an agreement between the Literary Fund and William Woodall acting for the Savage Club (who occupied other parts of Adelphi Terrace and from whom the Fund rented) and correspondence from Edward John Wade, William Smith, William James Farrer, J Whittall, William Bohm, Farrer & Co., Arthur Llewelyn Roberts, Sir John Somers Vine, W H Denny and Edward Eden Peacock. Also contains a printed leaflet about Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway stock and a letter from C W Bayley to Roberts regarding this.
