Contains documents relating to the Literary Fund’s residence at Stationer’s hall between 1921 and 1957. Includes the 1921 agreement, 1921 correspondence between High John Cole Marshall, R T Rivington and Charles Robert Rivington with respect to the Fund’s moving in, a revised 1925 agreement and a 1938 note renewing this. Also contains 1950s correspondence between R T Rivington and John G Broadbent regarding renovations at Stationer’s Hall and the end of the Fund’s tenancy, as well as letters from Cuthbert Grasemann, Michael Hornby and others regarding the Fund’s move and locating new property. The file also contains lists of the Fund’s inventory and books at the time of the move in 1957.
