John Monro (b. 1715, d. 1791), physician and specialist in insanity: his sale, Leigh and Sotheby's, 23 April 1792, lot 3389 (part 1), which together with lot 3390 passed to Burney and now forms part of Burney 276, 277. See also Harley 5672, ff 19-23 and Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Holmes 158.
