Letter from eighteen Persian merchants and four Armenian merchants requesting assistance in transferring treasure to India, which has become too dangerous due to pirate activity, and stating that they would like to use the ship HMS Favorite to do so. The letter goes on to assure Bruce of their loyalty to the British government.
