Foliation: The volume has been foliated in the top right hand front corner of each folio that contains writing with a pencil number enclosed in a circle.
There is also an original pagination sequence consisting of an ink number in the top right corner of the recto and the top left corner of the verso of each folio. The pagination numbers are missing on a number of pages owing to the poor condition of some of the correspondence.
