A poetical version by Zartusht Bahrām Pazhdū of the book of Ardā Vīrāf, based on a Pahlavi original of the 9th/10th century, which describes his journey through heaven and hell and his return home afterwards.
This copy has been transcribed in both Persian and Avestan scripts, reflecting a tradition of transcribing Zoroastrian texts in a ‘Zoroastrian’ (i.e. Avestan) script
The Persian is written in red ink under each line of Avestan script
