John Monro (b. 1715, d. 1791), physician and specialist in insanity: probably one of the fragments mentioned as part of lot 3390, part 2, in his sale, Leigh and Sotheby's, 23 April 1792, which together with lot 3389 passed to Burney and now forms part of Burney 276, 277.
