Photograph of a round temple at Hetimpur, West Bengal taken by an unknown photographer in the 1870s and forms part of the Temple Collection. Raja Rama Ranjan Chakravarti Bahadur succeeded to the Hetimpur estate in 1862 when he was 11 years old. He received the title Raja in 1874 and that of Raja Bahadur in 1877; the latter owing to his munificence during the famine of 1874. He built a college, high school, Sanskrit tol and a charitable dispensary for the benefit of the villagers.
