View looking into the domed interior. Described in E. D. Lyon, 'Notes to accompany a series of photographs designed to illustrate the ancient architecture of Western India' (Geneva, 1871), p. 15: 'On ascending the avenue through the numerous temples represented in photograph 625 [see print 2023], at the upper end on the right this portico will be found. The temple to which it forms the entrance is that of Manet Jemalji, and was built by a Shrawak of Jodhpur in 1629 and dedicated by him to Madavir Swami.'
