598. - Among the countless mosques with which Ahmedabad is filled, the only other now worthy of a visit is that of Shapoor which as will be seen from the photograph is essentially different from those already described. The view is completely spoilt by the wall which may be said to detach it from its minarets. It was built by Hoosein Mohammed Chishtee in 1565 but the minarets were never finished owing to the troubles of the times.
