Genre: Archaeological Photography
Duplicate (earlier print) of Photo 1002 (1006). Boxed sculpture pieces, identified by T. Bloch, 'A list of the photographic negatives of Indian antiquities in the collection of the Indian Museum: with which is incorporated the list of similar negatives in the possession of the the India Office' (Calcutta, 1900), as follows: 'Various religious scenes: infant Buddha returns from the Lumbini garden, a group of wrestlers, feeding of a horse, husband and wife with children (yakshas?), and fragments.'
