Gouache with gold; on an album page with blue and plain borders sprinkled with gold.
Reverse: a ‘ragamala’ series.

The prince sits with his lady on a bed set under a pavilion. He is holding a little cup of wine. Eight girls are in attendance, some playing music and one washing fruit in the fountain in the foreground.
Note: The prince is possibly one of the younger sons of Ahmad Khan Bangash (1743-71). The same prince is depicted in J.66, 9.
