ff. 7r-146r: The Book of Psalms, with an interlinear translation in Anglo-Norman.
ff. 146r-157v: Canticles and hymns (Confitebor tibi , Ego dixi, Exultavit cor meum, Cantemus domino gloriose, Domine audivi, Audite celi, Benedicite, Te Deum, Benedictus, Quicumque Vult), with interlinear translations in Anglo-Norman.
ff. 157v-161r: A Litany of Saints, including the English and Irish saints Alban, Edmund, Ælfheah of Canterbury, Æthelwold of Winchester, Augustine of Canterbury, Cuthbert, Guthlac, Wilfrid, Swithun, Dunstan, Aidan of Lindesfarne, Botwulf of Thorney, Kyneburga, Kyneswide, Tibba, Æthelthryth, Sexburga, Werburgh.
The manuscript contains a number of additions:
f. 157v: Angelic Trisagion, ‘Te Deum Patrem ingenitum, te Filium unigenitum, te Spiritum Sanctum Paraclitum, sanctam et individuam Trinitatem, toto corde et ore confitemur, laudamus, atque benedicimus: Tibi gloria in saecula’, added in the 13th or 14th century.
f. 161r: Antiphon for the Feast of the Holy Trinity, 'Lucem tuam Domine nobis concede ut destitutis cordium tenebris pervenire possimus ad lumen qui est Christus', added in the 13th or 14th century.
f. 161v: A prayer for the soul at the anniversary of a deceased person's burial, '[Oratio] Deus indulgenciarum domine da anime famuli tui cui[us] anniversarium deposicionis diem commemoramus refrigerii sedem', added in the 13th or 14th century.
f. 161v: A prayer for mercy, 'Deus cui proprium est misereri semper et parcere', added in the 13th or 14th century.
f. 161v: A prayer for the souls of one's father and mother, 'Deus qui nos patrem et matrem honorare praecepisti', added in the 13th or 14th century.
ff. 7r-7v: An interlinear Anglo-Norman translation of the Psalter, copied in the 17th century from another Psalter, probably the so-called ‘Eadwine Psalter' (Cambridge, Trinity College MS R.17.1), to replace the original text that had either faded or been erased (see Dean, Anglo-Norman Literature (1999), p. 242 [no. 446]).
Decoration:
4 large gold initials with foliate decoration in colours on a blue wash background (ff. 7r, 54v, 100v, 114v) at Psalms 1, 51, 101 (the threefold division of the Psalter), and Psalm 109, the first psalm of the Sunday vespers. Large initials in red, blue, yellow, or green, most with arabesque decoration in one or three of these colours until f. 121, at which point the scribe and parchment also changes, and some with a yellow wash; 1 large initial in green and red (f. 129r) [Psalm 119]; small initials in red, blue, or green. Display script in red. Paraph markers in red.

The Benedectine abbey of St Peter, St Paul and St Andrew in Peterborough, founded in 966: the psalms have Benedictine sub-divisions, and the litany includes St Peter (in capitals), St Aethelwold, St Oswald, and St Benedict all with double invocations, St Guthlac, St Kyneburga, St Kyneswitha, St Tibba, and St Sexburga; the petitions are the same as in other Peterborough manuscripts.
