- This item consists of a copy of an enclosure to a Political Despatch from the Government of India Foreign Department to the Secretary of State for India, dated 15 September 1874, relating to correspondence between HM Consul-General in Turkish Arabia [Ottoman Iraq] and Redif Pasha [Radīf Pāshā], Governor-General of Bagdad [Baghdad], concerning the latter postponing further payment on account of telegraph stores, and repeating his promise to complete liquidation by the middle of March 1875.
