The papers notably cover:
- Budget proposals based on estimated receipts and expenditure for 1920-21
- Breakdown of budgets showing departments involved, including: public works; post; telegraph; railways; ports; irrigation; army; Arab levies and police; and stationery
- Revisions of the aforementioned budgets where deemed appropriate
- Estimated budget for 1920-21 from the Department of Education, incorporating the establishment of schools, building repairs, furniture, books and stationery
- Observations regarding the budget from Treasury
- Parliamentary questions regarding the budgets of previous years and how they were spent.
In addition, the item includes the Directorate of Military and Public Works report ‘Budget Estimates of Expenditure for the Civil Administration for the year 1920-21’ (ff 89-102).
