This volume contains papers relating to the financial affairs of the British administration in Mesopotamia. It consists of the following four parts:
- Part 2 (IOR/L/PS/10/869/1, located at ff 398-434)
- Part 4 (IOR/L/PS/10/869/2, located at ff 280-397)
- Part 5 (IOR/L/PS/10/869/3, located at ff 121-279)
- Part 6 (IOR/L/PS/10/869/4, located at ff 1-120).
There is no part 3. For part 1, see IOR/L/PS/10/868.
Each part includes a divider which gives the subject and part numbers, the year the subject file was opened, the subject heading, and a list of correspondence references contained in that part by year. These are placed at the back of the correspondence.

A previous foliation sequence, which is also circled, has been superseded and therefore crossed out. The volume contains one foliation anomaly, f 40a. The foliation sequence does not include the front and back covers, nor does it include the leading and ending flyleaves.
