This item consists of a General Despatch with enclosures from the Government of India’s Foreign Department to the Secretary of State for India, Number 6 of 1882, dated 20 February 1882. The enclosures date from 20 June 1878 to 14 October 1881 and concern the replacement of the Assistant Surgeon at Bassidore [Basaidu], Abd-ur-Rahim [‘Abd al-Raḥīm, also written as Abdur Rahim] with a hospital assistant.
