Political Despatch from the Foreign Department, Government of India, to the Secretary of State for India, No. 83 of 1873, dated 9 June 1873, containing an enclosure dated 21 April 1873.
The enclosure consists of a report by the Acting Political Resident in the Persian Gulf, Lieutenant-Colonel Edward Charles Ross, on the administration of Muscat and the territories adjacent to the Persian Gulf for the year 1872-73. The report covers the following matters:
