On the right in the palace, the princes ask the king for teachers of religion, arts and sciences, while above two ladies at a carpeted jharokha window look down on them on the left as they practise horsemanship on the exercise ground. One man is about to teach the use of a whip. Above, in a veranda, a bow-carrying man is observing them writing, while three ladies with drum, cymbals and tambura accompany a dancing girl.
Inscriptions in nagari; beside the archer: samgitabi[dya?]bhao chai ([this] is music and sciences); as written by the princes: srigurubhyai namah bharatha satrughna vidya pathakara chaim (Homage to the teachers – Bharata and Satrughna are studying the sciences).
