The maps relate to the built-up areas along the northern margin of Hong Kong Island, and the Kowloon Peninsula south of Mong Kok.The material was produced to illustrate a possible gridding error on a new map. The scale statement applies to the 2 manuscript sheets.

Two copies of a map showing the alignment of the boundary, which follows the High Water mark, from Kak Tin (1 mile upstream from the present day Huanggang border crossing) westwards to Shan Shek Ha (a distance of 13 miles). The Chinese side of this border is now part of the city of Shenzhen.
