Scope & Content:
Receipt for the payment of the transfer-tax on settlers’ land made by Ammonarion, first wife of Marcus Lucretius Diogenes, for the purchase of some land from Marcus Iulius Casianus, made almost eight years earlier. With subscription of the tax-farmer Sarapammon at the end.

On the front, there are 5 lines written across the fibres; lower, right and left margins are extant, the right being minimal. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

On the front, there are 15 lines written along the fibres from the top of a column, with upper, right and left margins. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Papyrus sheet, lacking its left-hand portion and with holes and breaks in the preserved part; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are portions of 23 lines, all lacking the beginnings; upper and lower margins survive; no margin was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Fragment of a contract for the loan of five artabas of wheat between Aurelius Aionis, son of Pasis, and the son of a certain Sabinus, whose name is damaged, both from Philadelphia, the lessees, and Aurelius Ptolemaeus, the lessor. The rest of the contract is preserved in Papyrus 2517.

A: Dark-brown papyrus fragment with detached scrap, with surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The back is blank.

B: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, written on both sides; the front bears a few letters written along the fibres; the back contains parts of one column written across the fibres. Another fragment is Papyrus 2502(B).

C: Medium-brown papyrus strip; written on one side across the fibres, being blank on the front. The writing is effaced.

D: Small papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides; the front bears two words running along the fibres; the back is blank except for a small trace of ink.

E: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, blank on either side.

F: Medium-brown papyrus fragment, written on one side along the fibres. The text on the front is effaced, the back is blank.

G: Lower left portion of a medium-brown papyrus, written on one side across the fibres; the front bears the beginnings of 6 lines; lower and left margins survive. The back is blank.

Left fragment (A): Dark-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the top and right, broken off on the other sides; written on both sides. On the front, the ends of 9 lines from the top of a column remain, running along the fibres; upper and right margins are extant. On the back, there is a small trace of ink.

Middle fragment (B): Lower left corner of a dark-brown papyrus sheet, written on one side along the fibres. The front bears the beginnings of 4 lines in red ink from the foot of a column; lower and left margins are extant. The back is blank.

Right fragment (C): Lower portion of a medium-brown papyrus, written on one side along the fibres. The front bears traces of 5 lines in red ink, illegible; the lower margin is ample. Folding lines are still visible. The back is blank.
