‘SPIETATO OH! DIO’; late 18th – early 19th cent. The melody only of a song for soprano, with a blank stave ruled beneath, probably for a guitar accompaniment. Written onto two blank pages between pp. 37 and 38 of Frederic Schuman’s printed volume A Collection of the most celebrated Songs set by Several Authors adapted for the Guittar (Printed for Mlle Rauche, [1763]).
