Recto (TM 22881): Portion of a contract for the division of land between Aurelius Victor, son of Taurinus, and Flavius Menas, son of Phoebammon, of the unit of the Mauri. Dated to 1 December 507. Verso (TM 38316): Sixth-century accounts. Unpublished.

Portion of a papyrus roll, made up of two sheets, the upper sheet (front) displaying horizontal fibres and the lower vertical fibres; darkened throughout, broken off at the bottom (front) and with insect holes and surface damage. It is written on both sides across the fibres. The front bears 18 lines, with two interlinear additions and a speck of another line at the bottom; the blank space at the top measures 105 mm; side margins survive. On the back there are two columns written across the fibres; the margins survive. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Two papyrus sheets housed in the same glass frame.

Upper papyrus (A): Broken off to the right and mutilated at the bottom (front); with darker patches; written on both sides. The front bears 5 lines lacking the ends, running across the fibres; upper and lower margins measure c. 20 mm; the left margin measures 10 mm; the right margin is lost. On the back there is one line written along the fibres in the upper left corner.

Lower papyrus (B): Broken off at the bottom and right; with some surface damage in places; bearing writing on one side across the fibres, with the back blank. There are 5 lines wanting the ends, and traces of a sixth line. Upper and left margins survive.

Upper papyrus (A): Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, with holes and surface damage; portions of 14 lines remain, the last being very mutilated. Upper and left margins survive.

Lower papyrus (B): Small sheet, complete, with 5 complete lines written across the fibres; margins are all minimal.

Upper papyrus (A): Complete, written on both sides along the fibres, the back having one line in the upper part of the sheet; the front has 6 lines; margins are extant.

Lower papyrus (B): Abraded in places; written on one side, with the back blank. On the front, there are 9 lines running across the fibres, the last being compressed.

Conclusion of a lease of land, apparently grain land; the rent is to be paid in the month of Epeiph and delivered to the lessor's house. The subscriptions of the lessee, of two witnesses and of the notary Hermes follow.

On the front, there are 11 lines from the foot of a column; lower and side margins are extant. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame. The frame originally included another fragment, now mounted with Papyrus 1330 (A).

Beginning of an acknowledgement of a loan of money, the borrowers being Aurelius Chiedes and his mother Sophia, and the lender Aurelia Nemesilla, all of Hermopolis. The borrowers had formerly contracted another debt.

Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, lacking the lower left corner too and with few insect holes; written on both sides. The front bears 14 lines and traces of an additional line at the bottom; upper and right margins are preserved, the left margin survives opposite lines 1-7. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom along the right edge. On the back there is one line parallel to the fibres, and traces of 4 lines, much effaced, running against the fibres. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
