- A private letter from Gaianus to the prefect (eparchos) Agenor, confirming that he received what the recipient had dispatched, and apologising for not having been able as yet to catch the wild animals he had asked for, due to the little number of soldiers with him. With endorsement on the back.

Incomplete papyrus sheet, lacking part of its lower portion and the left-hand upper part, written on both sides along the fibres, the back only having one broken line. A kollesis (sheet-join) is at c. 3 cm from the left-hand side, with the fibres of the first sheet being perpendicular to the ones of the second sheet. Housed in one glass case. Number 122 in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy I.
