Light-brown papyrus fragment from the beginning of a roll, made of two sheets with opposite fibre orientation: on the front the left-hand sheet displays vertical fibres and the right hand sheet horizontal fibres; on the back, the upper sheet has vertical fibres and the lower horizontal fibres. The papyrus is complete and well preserved, slightly torn at the bottom (front), and is written on both sides across the fibres apart from the ends of few lines on the front, which were written on the second sheet, and hence along the fibres. The front bears 9 lines and the back 2 lines. On the front, the sheet-join runs from top to bottom at 70 mm from the right edge. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
