Lower portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the bottom and sides; with writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 9 lines written along the fibres from the bottom of a column, with a small trace of another line at the top; upper, right and left margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Scope & Content:
Fragment of a contract for the loan of five artabas of wheat between Aurelius Aionis, son of Pasis, and the son of a certain Sabinus, whose name is damaged, both from Philadelphia, the lessees, and Aurelius Ptolemaeus, the lessor. The rest of the contract is preserved in Papyrus 2525.

On the front, there are the ends of 23 lines written along the fibres; upper and lower margins are extant, while no margin was left to the right. Long and narrow papyrus sheet, medium-brown, complete, damaged by holes and abraded in places; writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. There is one column of 22 lines, which occupy the upper half of the sheet. Margins are extant, with the blank at the bottom measuring 130 mm. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
