Used by his grandson, Sir Spencer Walpole, K.C.B., for The Life of the Rt. Hon. Spencer Perceval, 2 vols., 1874; by H. B. Adams, History of the United States of America, iii-vi, 1893-6, and by D. Gray, Spencer Perceval, the Evangelical Prime Minister, 1762-1812, 1963. Annotated by his son, Dudley Montagu Perceval, and by Sir S. Walpole. Later owned by Dudley Perceval (d. 1956), grandson of D. M. Perceval and husband of the donor. Another collection of papers of the Hon. Spencer Perceval (owned by D. C. L. Holland, Esq., formerly of the House of Commons Library) is wrongly described by Gray, op. cit., p. 474, as deposited in the British Museum. Presented by the Hon. Mrs Mary Elizabeth Perceval, together with Add. Ch. 75439-75450 and with printed material now transferred to the Department of Printed Books.
