VENEZUELA, PAPERS: a collection of transcripts of official letters and documents relating to the occupation by the Spaniards of Trinidad, Margarita, Guiana, Venezuela and other adjacent provinces and islands of Central and South America, and to their differences there with the English, Dutch. French and Portuguese; 1530-1824. Mostly in Spanish. Forty volumes. Folio. The originals, with a few exceptions, are preserved in the Spanish Archives, and the transcripts were made for the British Government as materials for use in the Arbitration with Venezuela as to the boundaries of British Guiana. The contents in many cases are printed, with translations, in the blue-book, British Guiana Boundary. Appendix to the Case on behalf of the Government of Her Britannic Majesty, 1898-99. Presented by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
