Scope & Content:

With symphonies and accompaniments for violin, violoncello, and pianoforte (and in Add MS 35,270-1 flute also), and a few sonatas introducing Scottish airs for the same instruments, composed for, and most of them published by, George Thomson, of Edinburgh (see Add MS 35,263). The first four volumes are in score; in the others the string parts are separate.
