- Much of Price's computer activity in London involved FORTRAN IV with the University College IBM 360/65 and the University of London CDC 6600. The IBM 360 Model 65 was first delivered by International Business Machines in November 1965 to MIT. The CDC 6600 was first shipped in 1964, and was produced by Control Data Corporation, a famously small company (that competed with the very much larger IBM) based in a small city, Chippewa Falls, in Wisconsin USA. Much of the surviving material dates from 1973 and 1974 and concerns the CDC 6600 machine. This points to these materials being to a large extent the remnants of Price's last research, pertaining to the 1-year MRC grant. Late explicit dates for several computer printouts are 9 and 10 May 1974. In August 1974, Price sought a position in a City bank as a computer programmer and analyst.
